Thanks to all who sent birthday messages! On my b-day I dined at a great French restaurant in Covent Garden. I ate lamb, duck, and rabbit, and drank champagne, wine, and scotch... It was a three course meal spread over about four hours. Last night I met an old friend whose b-day is on the 12th. Our tradition of meeting for drinks on the 11th goes back to when we both lived in NYC. We met in Hampstead, visited the Heath, and had pints and scotch at The Flask, another historic pub.
This will be my last post, as I'm flying back to NYC tomorrow. I'll be back in NH on Sunday.
